Hi there! I'm Ezra, the guy that started Affinity Revolution.

Before starting Affinity Revolution, I used to be a HUGE Photoshop fan. I got to use it all the time on my work computer (I was a software instructor at my university's library), and thought it was the coolest thing ever. But my opinion of Photoshop quickly changed when I wanted to put it on my personal computer... why does it cost $120 per year?!

I quickly looked for cheaper alternatives, since I love saving money, and hate paying subscriptions. Fun fact: because of my aversion to subscriptions, I didn't get a cell phone until my senior year in college, and even now I have the cheapest plan I can find ($5/month).

When I found Affinity Photo, I was blown away by how powerful this app is, and all for a fraction of Photoshop's price. Affinity was the way for me!

As I started using Affinity Photo though, I was a little disappointed to see the lack of good tutorials for it. Photoshop has thousands of amazing tutorials, while Affinity had just a few. That's when I realized what I should do. By combining my education degree with my knowledge of photo editing, I could be the one to make a difference, by creating quality tutorials for Affinity Photo.

And with that idea, Affinity Revolution was born!

Over the last 3 years, I've created hundreds of Affinity tutorials, and have gotten to teach thousands of students from around the world. I love photo editing, and also love getting to help other people, so making these tutorials has been a dream come true.

When I'm not making Affinity Photo tutorials, I love doing yoga, taking evening walks with Ally, and playing Super Smash Bros whenever I get a chance.
