My favorite website for free fronts is DaFont.com.
From this website, you can search these categories to find 1000’s of free fonts. You can also search for the most popular fonts.
When searching for fonts, take note whether the font is 100% free, or is free for just personal use. If it’s only free for personal use, you will need to buy the font in order to use it in commercial projects.
After you’ve found a font you like, press on the download button.
Now you will have a zip file in your downloads. To unzip the file on a Mac, double click on it. To unzip the file on a PC, right click on it and press “Extract All”.
Inside the folder, you will find a “.ttf” file. This is the font file. To install the font on a Mac, double click on the font file, and then press “Install Font”. To install the font on a PC, right click on the font file, and then press “Install”.
Now when you open Affinity Photo, you will be able to use your brand new font. Enjoy! 🙂
