Installing the Fonts on a PC

After downloading the fonts, you need to install them on your computer.

Select all the font files, right-click on them, and press Install. If you do not see Install as an option, click Show more options and then press Install.

If any of the fonts are already installed on your computer, a dialog box will ask if you want to replace the existing font with the new one you’re installing. Choose No, since there’s no need to install a font you already have.


Installing the Fonts on a Mac

After downloading the fonts, you need to install them on your computer.

Press Command Spacebar and search for Font Book. Then click & drag all the font files into Font Book.

If any of the fonts are already installed on your computer, a dialog box will ask if you want to replace the existing font with the new one you’re installing. Choose Skip, since there’s no need to install a font you already have.


Using the Fonts

After you’ve installed the fonts, they can be accessed from all the Affinity programs.

Some of the fonts are “Variable Fonts”, which means they have customization options.

To see all the Variable Fonts that are installed on your computer, click the OV in the font drop-down list.

To customize Variable Fonts, click the V in the Context Toolbar.

Why are there more than 100 files in the font folder?
Some of the fonts have separate files for their regular appearance, their bold appearance, and their italicized appearance. That’s why there are more than 100 files for the 100 fonts.
